Who is Jo?
Jo is short for JoAnn Pierri. JoAnn Pierri was the wife of Angelo Pierri, Senior Pastor of Light of the World Church. The Pantry is named after her because of her selfless lifestyle in caring for the needs of others. She had such a giving heart that she would give the shirt off her back or the food in her cupboard to someone in need. She would always put people first before herself and showed what God’s love is all about. Even though in 2007, JoAnn went home to be with her Lord and Savior, we honor her memory by naming this Pantry after her.
