Jo's Outreach is a Pennsylvania state registered food pantry serving people in need in Monroe and Pike Counties.

 

Who is Jo? Jo is short for JoAnn Pierri. JoAnn Pierri was the wife of Angelo Pierri, Senior Pastor of Light of the World Church. The Pantry is named after her because of her selfless lifestyle in caring for the needs of others. She had such a giving heart that she would give the shirt off her back or the food in her cupboard to someone in need. She would always put people first before herself and showed what God’s love is all about. Even though in 2007, JoAnn went home to be with her Lord and Savior, we honor her memory by naming this Pantry after her.

Located at 114 Academy Drive, Minisink Hills, PA, the Pantry not only offers food but other necessities at no cost to anyone in need. Over two years, the Pantry has grown and in 2017 became registered by the state to reach a more significant number of people in need throughout the Monroe and Pike Counties. 

Jo's Outreach has six board of directors and volunteers from the community solely run it.
